This favourite local watering hole had lost its loyal following after a series of rapid-fire changes of management. When the new owners, Andrew and Stephanie stepped in, it was with a determination to re-establish a neighbourhood institution by creating a space full of personality – like the customers they wanted to frequent it. The intimate room resonates with an eclectic materials and colour palette but the high level of craftsmanship speaks to the care of service and respect for the neighbourhood.
